Unifying client data across an enterprise

Aon's aging CRM platform made it difficult to see client information in one place, provide reporting to users and managers, and perform common tasks.
Initial Concepts
At the beginning of the project, we had no sample data to work with so I began with extremely low-fidelity drawings to quickly visualize potential solutions.
Partnering With A Junior Designer
I was paired with a talented junior designer, Sofia Telatin, who had no previous CRM experience. I gave her a crash course on CRM basics and she got up to speed very quickly. We used Aon’s design system and developed sample reports until real data became available.
Refinement with Real Data
Aon’s clients, large enterprises with multiple locations and divisions, had scattered data. We collaborated with internal partners to consolidate essential information into a single, comprehensive client dashboard view.
Manager-facing views
We developed a mockup for a sales manager report, featuring a summary pipeline and other key metrics for better insight.
Outcomes
The project led to a clear visualization of proposed CRM enhancements and effectively communicated the benefits to senior executives, helping to secure project funding.
